JS Aurelius "We Are The Ones Who Will Die Too Young" digiLP (Acousmatic Industries, 2014)
We Are The Ones Who Will Die Too Young (i) is a piece written for six pianos, and is a practice in rhythmic phasing. Each set repeats a different pattern for one full cycle, then switches to the next pattern. The patterns are each different lengths, with the lengths and scaling of each pattern being determined according to the the Lucas numbers (2, 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, break).
